16th Edition of The Headies Awards 2023 Winners

The 16th edition of Nigeria’s renowned music awards show, “The Headies,” took center stage at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, United States, on Sunday, September 3, 2023. This annual celebration of African music was a night filled with spectacular performances and well-deserved awards.

The event was skillfully hosted by award-winning actress and producer Osas Ighodaro alongside American actor, TV presenter, and model Terrence J, creating an engaging and memorable atmosphere.

Among the standout winners of the night were Asake, Rema, Burna Boy, and Odumodublvck, who clinched top honors in various categories.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening came when Rema delivered an impassioned speech on the significance of recognizing and supporting music institutions. Rema, a talented artist in his own right, walked away with two awards.
