The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations knockout stage bracket has been set, following a dramatic conclusion to the group phase that saw Tanzania end a 45-year wait to advance and claim the final qualifying spot.
The tension stretched into Tuesday’s final matches in Group C and F, with the complex mathematics of ranking the best third-placed teams keeping fans in suspense until the final whistles.
