2Baba and Wife Natasha Clash Audibly During Live Instagram Broadcast

Music icon and lawmaker’s heated exchange forces early end to live session, leaving host and viewers concerned.

A live Instagram session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze was abruptly cut short on Monday evening following a tense and audible confrontation between Afrobeats legend 2Baba, born Innocent Idibia, and his wife, lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.

The incident unfolded shortly after the singer joined the live broadcast. Listeners were startled as a strained, intense exchange erupted from 2Baba’s end of the call.

In a raised voice, 2Baba was heard saying, “Shut the f up, you need to shut the f*** up.”

His wife, Osawaru, responded swiftly from off-camera, her voice clear, “Innocent, bring that phone, let him see us together.” She was also heard asking, “Is that Daddy Freeze’s?” before demanding the phone be turned toward them.

Sounds of a struggle followed, with 2Baba warning in frustration, “See what you are doing,” before his audio feed suddenly cut out entirely.

Left with a silent line and a chat flooding with confusion, host Daddy Freeze attempted to calm the stunned audience. “Guys, calm down. Let’s hope there will be stability so that we will know what is going on,” he said, before ending the broadcast shortly after.

The incident has sparked widespread concern among fans, marking a rare public glimpse into tension between the recently married couple. Neither 2Baba nor Osawaru has made an official statement regarding the clash.
