The music legend appears in good spirits with his wife to set the record straight after viral reports of a London altercation caused fan concern.

In a lighthearted yet firm response, Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, known worldwide as 2Baba, has publicly dismissed viral rumors claiming he was arrested in London following a fight with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.

The speculation began when controversial blogger Tosin Silverdam alleged that 2Baba’s no-show at his scheduled UK tour on October 2, 2025, was due to a domestic dispute that led to his detention. The story spread rapidly, causing worry among his global fanbase.

Putting the rumors to rest, 2Baba released a video featuring his wife and close associates, all appearing relaxed and in good health. The mood was jovial, with one friend humorously highlighting the absurdity of the situation, telling the singer, “Oh boy, dem don alleged you. Allegedly, dem say you way dey here, allegedly, dem don alleged you.”

Addressing his fans directly, 2Baba expressed gratitude to those who attended the canceled show and clarified the real reason for his absence. “First of all, I want to say everyone that came out, I appreciate you. We had a medical emergency, it was tough,” he explained. He assured fans that the event would be rescheduled, saying, “We go regroup and make something beautiful happen.”

He ended with a plea to the public, urging an end to the spread of baseless gossip: “And please, if una no sabi something, make una no talk abeg. This allegedly, I don tire.”

The candid clarification has been met with relief and support from fans, who were delighted to see the artist safe and sound, effectively silencing the circulating false narrative.
