The speculation began when controversial blogger Tosin Silverdam alleged that 2Baba’s no-show at his scheduled UK tour on October 2, 2025, was due to a domestic dispute that led to his detention. The story spread rapidly, causing worry among his global fanbase.

Putting the rumors to rest, 2Baba released a video featuring his wife and close associates, all appearing relaxed and in good health. The mood was jovial, with one friend humorously highlighting the absurdity of the situation, telling the singer, “Oh boy, dem don alleged you.
