Music Legend Stirs Controversy with Candid Take on Male Biology and Monogamy
Nigerian music icon 2Face Idibia has set social media ablaze with his unfiltered views on relationships, boldly declaring that “a man cannot be sexually satisfied by just one woman.”
The “African Queen” crooner dropped the bombshell during a recent appearance on Nedu Wazobia’s podcast, arguing that while men can deeply love one partner, monogamy goes against their biological wiring.
“A man is not built to be sexually with one woman,” 2Face stated in his signature blend of English and Pidgin. “Heart and love dey with one woman. But sexually, e dey impossible for man… Man fit love one woman die, but when it comes to that sexual satisfaction, it’s hard. Dey seed to plenty, you no fit drop am for one woman.”
The Grammy-nominated artist—who has faced public scrutiny over his own past relationship dramas—framed his stance as a matter of biology rather than morality. His comments have since divided fans, with some calling it “a hard truth” about male nature, while others slammed it as “an excuse for infidelity.”
