“You could feel the energy from the moment we stepped out,” Slot said. “Five years ago, the fans missed out on celebrating here. Today, they were our 12th man. Even when we went behind early, we never doubted this team. They always find a way.”
When asked when he truly believed Liverpool could go all the way, Slot replied, “For most of the season, honestly. Being at the top gives you confidence, but in the Premier League, nothing is certain. Still, this group never stopped believing.”
