Allegations Spark New Controversy in Longstanding Paternity Dispute
Ayotomide Labinjo, the mother of a young girl she claims is fathered by Nigerian music star Davido, has stirred controversy with allegations that the singer bribed a doctor to manipulate DNA test results in 2014.
Labinjo’s claims come after Prince Bobo Ajudua, Davido’s former lawyer, publicly denied that her daughter, Anu Adeleke, is the artist’s biological child. Labinjo took to Instagram to share her side of the story, accusing Bobo of fabricating information to protect Davido’s reputation.
According to Labinjo, only one DNA test was ever conducted, not two as suggested in some reports. She claimed the test took place in a “small, obscure clinic” in 2014, without Ajudua’s involvement.
Labinjo alleged that during the test, she witnessed Davido handing over money in a brown envelope to the doctor, whom she says manipulated the results to favor the singer.
She wrote:
“We did not go to two hospitals but a small clinic where my daughter’s blood was drawn in a private room, not even a clinical lab setting. My family and I watched money change hands in a brown envelope between Mr. David Adeleke and Mr. Wale Sobola, who disguised his name as ‘Dr. Alex.’”
Labinjo also revealed that repeated requests for a second DNA test have been denied. Despite the ongoing drama, she stated that she does not seek validation or support from Davido or the Adeleke family. Her priority, she emphasized, is establishing her daughter’s paternity.
The post has reignited debates on social media, with many weighing in on the explosive claims. Labinjo concluded her statement by thanking Nigerians for their kind words and support for her daughter.
This latest development adds to the ongoing public intrigue surrounding the case, which has been a subject of speculation for years. As of now, Davido has not issued a response to the allegations.
