Nigerian music sensation Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, made her United States TV debut on ‘The Tonight Show’ hosted by Jimmy Fallon. The Grammy-nominated artist appeared on the talk show on Tuesday, July 23, and captivated the audience with a dynamic performance of songs from her sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 21.’
Ayra Starr’s set began with the R&B-themed track ‘Last Heartbreak Song,’ featuring Giveon, and culminated with the Afrobeats hit ‘Woman Commando,’ featuring Anitta and Coco Jones. This milestone places Ayra Starr alongside notable Nigerian artists such as Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, Asake, Fireboy DML, and Rema, who have also graced the iconic TV show’s stage.
