Popular Nigerian singer, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, famously known as Bella Shmurda, has refuted claims of being attacked by cultists during a performance at the Lagos State University (LASU).
Reports had surfaced several weeks ago, stating that Bella Shmurda, along with Odumodublvck and other artists invited to perform at the esteemed institution, faced an attack and were subsequently forced to leave the concert venue. However, in a recent interview with Cool 96.9 FM, the singer dismissed these reports, asserting that he was not subjected to any attack.
During the interview, Bella Shmurda clarified that what occurred that day was not an attack but rather a result of the venue being excessively crowded with fans trying to express their love and admiration for him. He emphasized that if he had truly been attacked, it would have incited a riot at the university, which was not the case.
The ‘Cash App’ crooner further disclosed that despite feeling tired that day, he remained in control of the situation to ensure the safety and enjoyment of his fans. Managing the overwhelming crowd was a challenging task, but Bella Shmurda handled it diligently to prevent any untoward incidents from taking place.
For those who missed the interview, a video of the conversation was made available for viewers to watch. Bella Shmurda’s statement sheds light on the misconceptions surrounding the reported incident and sets the record straight about what truly transpired during his performance at Lagos State University.
