Bright Morgan reveals in a post-eviction interview that his American partner, whom he has never met in person, phoned show organizers with a false health claim in a bizarre attempt to remove him from the game.
In a shocking post-eviction revelation, former Big Brother Naija housemate Bright Morgan has claimed that his own girlfriend was responsible for a plot to have him removed from the reality show.
Speaking in an interview on Tuesday, Morgan explained that the woman he was dating, who is based in the United States, contacted the show’s producers under the false pretense that he was suffering from a serious health issue.
“My American girlfriend called the organisers to evict me from the show, claiming I have a health challenge,” Morgan stated.
The show’s security protocol, however, quickly uncovered the ruse. Producers reached out to the emergency contacts Morgan had provided—his family members. His brother firmly denied the claims, confirming that there was no such health issue.
Morgan expressed his frustration, insisting that if he had a genuine problem, he would have left the show on his own terms. “If I ever had a problem, I would voluntarily exit the show,” he said. “She wasn’t here in Nigeria, but she placed calls.”
Adding a further twist to the story, Morgan disclosed that his relationship with the woman was not only long-distance but had never been physical. He revealed that they had only started dating a few months ago and had never actually met in person, raising questions about the motive behind her drastic actions.
