Multichoice Announces Exciting Changes for 2024 Edition of BBNaija Reality Show
Multichoice, the organizers of the highly popular Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show, have unveiled plans to commence auditions for the ninth season set to take place in 2024.
The announcement was made through a statement released on the company’s social media platforms, introducing a new audition format for prospective contestants. According to the organizers, the application process for auditions will now involve pairs of contestants, marking a departure from previous seasons.
Contestants interested in participating in the upcoming 2024 edition can begin submitting their entries starting from Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 8:00 pm.
In a significant twist to the auditions, it was revealed that aspiring housemates will audition in pairs, with the option to team up with close friends, family members, romantic partners, or any combination that embodies a “dynamic duo.”
The statement posted on Multichoice’s social media platforms reads: “Exciting News! Biggie is back for #BBNaija Season 9 auditions with a twist! The audition requires 2 people. This year, it’s a search for Dynamic Duos that love the show and can turn up the heat in Biggie’s house! Can you make a Dynamic Duo? Simply swipe and follow the instructions! Auditions open, 27th March at 8pm!”
Contestants are encouraged to submit a three-minute video showcasing their personalities, strengths as a duo, and reasons why they should be selected to enter the BBNaija Season 9 house.
The introduction of the Dynamic Duo format marks a significant shift in the audition process, promising an exciting and diverse lineup of contestants for the upcoming season of the BBNaija reality show.
