Makhosazane Twala, popularly known as Khosi, emerged as the champion of the inaugural season of Big Brother Titans. However, in a recent interview with TV3 Ghana, the journalist-turned-reality TV celebrity revealed that she and her fellow housemates were yet to receive their long-awaited prizes. Khosi opened up about her surprise at winning the show and expressed her lingering anticipation for the rewards promised by the producers, including the coveted $100,000 cash prize.
Reflecting on her victory, Khosi admitted that the entire experience still feels surreal and sends shivers down her spine whenever she watches the show’s broadcasts. Despite the delay in receiving the benefits, she remains optimistic that there must be a valid reason behind it.
“My victory at the Big Brother Titans show really surprised me, and whenever I watch it, it feels unreal and gives me goosebumps… My fellow housemates and I have not been paid our rewards, and I am sure it’s for a good cause,” Khosi expressed. It is worth noting that the 25-year-old South African journalist was declared the winner of the competition during the grand finale held on April 2.
Khosi triumphed over Nigerian contestant Kanaga Jr. to claim the grand prize, which included the substantial $100,000 cash award. However, with the prize yet to be presented, Khosi and her fellow housemates find themselves eagerly awaiting communication from the show’s producers regarding the outstanding rewards.
As the anticipation builds, fans and supporters of Khosi and the other contestants hope for a swift resolution that will see the deserving winners finally receive their well-earned prizes.
