Bobrisky Responds to Defamation Claims by Femi Falana and Falz

Crossdresser denies bribery allegations and vows to leave legal matters to his lawyer.

Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okunneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has issued a response to a legal letter from renowned lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) and his son, musician and activist Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz. The letter, which included a 12-hour ultimatum, warned of potential legal action if Bobrisky did not comply with their demands.

In a statement posted on his Instagram Story, Bobrisky strongly denied the allegations of defamation and refuted claims that he had bribed the Senior Advocate of Nigeria to secure a presidential pardon. “I, Okunneye Idris, aka Bobrisky, didn’t give Falz or his dad any money for pardon. As a matter of fact, no penny was given to them,” he stated.

Bobrisky emphasized that he would no longer engage in public discussions about the issue and would let his lawyer handle all legal proceedings. He also distanced himself from controversial audio recordings circulating online, clarifying that the individual responsible for sharing the content should be held accountable.

“My lawyer will respond to any further information the public wants about this ongoing issue trending on social media,” Bobrisky added.
