Following the deadly attack in Metele, the Boko Haram terrorist group have advised the Nigerian army of new assault on a military base.

The insurgents threatened another attack on the army base at Jiddari-Polo, Maiduguri once they attacked farmers in the area, hacking on four to death while one was left with severe injuries.

“They arrived in large numbers and murdered four and left another man seriously injured,” the 75-year-old farmer said.

Umara, added that while rescuing himthe insurgents instructed him to inform the Nigerian Army to prepare for another attack.

“They asked me to deliver a message to the soldiers that they need to be prepared for an attack soon,” the septuagenarian told AFP.

“Five of these encircled me, but I automatically bolted. ”
