After the match, Kluivert shared his excitement with TNT Sports, reflecting on his team’s resilience amid injuries.
“This feels lovely,” he said. “We know how tough it is to play here. To come here with the injuries we have—just 12 first-team players—and dominate like this, hats off to the team.”
The 24-year-old also voiced his ambition for Bournemouth to aim for European football.
“At the beginning of the season, I said I’m an ambitious person, and we have a lot of ambitious players in the team,” Kluivert explained. “Bournemouth did a great job recruiting players with that mindset. Why not dream big? Let’s see where we can end up. There are great teams in the Premier League, so it’ll be tough, but who knows?”
