Liverpool boss Arne Slot admitted disappointment but praised his team’s control of the game. He also expressed surprise at Chelsea’s struggles this season, given how close they pushed Liverpool in October.
“I expected them to be real contenders,” Slot said. “Being 19 points ahead of them now is a big compliment to us.”
