Taraba State Representative Wins Title and ₦10 Million Cash Prize, to Represent Nigeria at Miss Universe in Mexico
The 2024 Miss Universe Nigeria competition culminated in a spectacular grand finale this evening at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Chidimma Adetshina, representing Taraba State, emerged as the winner, taking over the crown from the outgoing Miss Universe Nigeria 2023, Mitchel Ihezue.
Chidimma, who had previously withdrawn as a finalist from the 2024 Miss South Africa beauty pageant, entered the Miss Universe Nigeria competition after receiving a special invitation from the event’s organisers, Silverbird Group. Her decision to compete in Nigeria proved triumphant as she clinched the prestigious title.
In addition to the coveted crown, Chidimma was awarded ₦10 million in cash and other prizes. She will now represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe pageant, set to take place in Mexico this November.
