Cubana Chiefpriest Accuses Burna Boy of Threats Against His Family

Nigerian Socialite Alleges Intimidation, Involves Police in Escalating Feud

Prominent Nigerian businessman and nightlife entrepreneur Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has accused Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Burna Boy of threatening his life and endangering his family.

The accusations surfaced on Friday, January 17, when Chiefpriest took to Instagram to voice his concerns. According to the socialite, Burna Boy has been monitoring his movements, a claim fueled by a video shared by the musician. The video, posted online, reportedly showed Burna Boy driving through Chiefpriest’s upscale Ikoyi neighborhood in Lagos.

Accusations of Intimidation

In an Instagram post, Chiefpriest interpreted the video as an act of intimidation, accusing Burna Boy of plotting sinister actions.

“This is my neighborhood in Ikoyi. You drive past my crib, recording with an eye symbol, watching me to shoot me or abduct my family. This is childish,” Chiefpriest wrote.

The businessman, originally from Aba, issued a stern warning to Burna Boy, declaring his readiness to defend himself and his family.

“Dog wey dey bite no dey bark. I be Aba boy; we fight to finish. All your men shall fall that day if you cross my lane. Make sure nothing happens to my family. This is Ikoyi, not Ikate. The Nigeria Police Force already has the intel, so I’m ready,” he added.
