Nigerian Dancehall Star Madrina Expresses Gratitude for Olamide’s Generous Act
Nigerian dancehall sensation Cynthia Morgan, now known as Madrina, recently shared a heartwarming story about a generous gesture from Nigerian music executive Olamide. Madrina took to her Instagram story to reveal how Olamide gifted her with N1 million in a touching act of kindness.
In her Instagram post, Madrina recounted the incident where Olamide, the YBNL boss, blessed her with the substantial sum a few months ago. However, she hesitated to mention this act of generosity on social media until now.
Madrina explained that a friend advised her against publicizing the monetary gift, suggesting that the amount might be considered too small. Despite this advice, Madrina felt compelled to express her gratitude publicly, emphasizing the profound impact of Olamide’s generosity.
She contrasted Olamide’s gift with her own experience of borrowing 1 million naira from her family, which was met with insults and negativity. Madrina highlighted Olamide’s humility in giving the gift, which deeply touched her and inspired her to share her appreciation.
In her own words, Madrina wrote on Instagram, “Told someone Olamide sent me a million naira some months ago and the guy said I shouldn’t put it out there because the money is too small…1 million naira wey my own tribesman loan me insult me join. Abeg o Olamide thank you.”
Madrina’s heartfelt post has resonated with her fans and followers, showcasing the positive impact of acts of kindness and generosity in the music industry.
