Singer Says Five DNA Tests Prove He Is Not The Father, Vows Legal Action
Grammy-nominated superstar Davido has issued a forceful public denial after a teenager named Anu publicly requested he take a DNA test to prove he is her father. In a social media statement, the singer not only rejected the claim but accused Anu’s mother of being “an obsessed fan” who is lying to her own daughter.
The conflict escalated when Anu shared her emotional struggles online, detailing how she is bullied by classmates for saying Davido is her father. In response, the singer stated he has already undergone five separate DNA tests at different hospitals—three chosen by him and two chosen by Anu’s team—and all returned negative results.
“I’VE TAKEN 5 DNA TESTS ALL NEGATIVE. I AM NOT YOUR FATHER … NEVER EVEN MET YOUR MOM .. SHES AN OBSESSED FAN LYING TO YOU … THIS NEEDS TO STOP I ACTUALLY HAVE CHILDREN,” Davido wrote in an impassioned post.
Expressing clear frustration, he lamented the continued public discussion. “This is the last time I’m speaking on this nonsense,” he stated, before threatening legal action against the mother. “I will soon treat their case … the mom needs to go to jail … I don’t blame the poor girl.”
The singer’s sharp rebuttal aims to draw a definitive line under the years-long allegation, framing it not as a private family matter but as a case of harassment by an overzealous fan. With his vow to pursue legal consequences, the personal dispute now appears headed for a potential courtroom battle.
