Rapper and activist Falz takes legal action, demanding retraction and apology from media personality VeryDarkMan.
Popular Nigerian rapper and activist, Falz, has issued a Demand Letter against media personality VeryDarkMan (VDM) over allegations that he and his father, renowned lawyer Femi Falana (SAN), attempted to secure a federal pardon for crossdresser Bobrisky while the latter was in prison.
VeryDarkMan recently made headlines with an audio recording in which he claimed that Falz and his father intervened in Bobrisky’s legal troubles and allegedly sought a N10 million bribe from the social media personality in exchange for assistance.
In response, Falz denied the accusations through a legal statement, clarifying that while Bobrisky did seek help, it was only to influence his stay in the VIP section of the correctional facility. Falz stated that he merely offered advice and had no involvement in any bribery.
Falz’s legal team has demanded that VeryDarkMan retract the defamatory statement and issue a public apology. Failure to comply could result in further legal action.
The demand letter has been shared publicly as the dispute between the rapper and the activist continues to unfold.
