Fireboy DML Teases Upcoming Joint EP with Lojay, Reflects on Collaboration with Lagbaja

Nigerian music sensation Adedamola Oyinlola Adefolahan, popularly known as Fireboy DML, has announced that he is currently working on a joint Extended Play (EP) with fellow artist Lekan Osifeso Jnr., better known by his stage name Lojay.

In an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, Fireboy revealed, “I’m working on a joint EP with Lojay. We have a very great relationship in the studio.” The news has generated excitement among fans who are eager to see what the two artists will create together.

Fireboy, who recently released his fourth studio album titled “Adedamola,” also reflected on his collaboration with the legendary Nigerian afrobeat artist, singer-songwriter, and drummer Bisade Ologunde, widely known as Lagbaja. The duo worked together on the track “Back N Forth.”

Lagbaja is the most meticulous artist I’ve ever worked with. I wished he had taken his mask off, but he wore it all through our time in the studio. I learned a lot from him during the session,” Fireboy shared, praising the iconic musician’s attention to detail.

Fans can look forward to the upcoming EP, which promises to feature soulful vocals, groovy beats, and heartfelt lyrics exploring themes of love, passion, and self-discovery.
