The BBNaija star alleges staff gave her room number to intruders before holding her liable for millions in damages after a violent altercation.
Reality TV star Phyna has made serious allegations against an Abuja hotel, claiming its failure to provide security led to a terrifying ordeal that ended with her being detained over a multi-million Naira damage bill.
The incident follows a viral video showing an altercation involving the BBNaija winner at the Dalchifit Hotel in the Swarinpa area of Abuja. Taking to her Instagram account, Phyna detailed a harrowing sequence of events, alleging that the hotel’s management allowed a group of touts to access the building, proceed to the second floor, and violently break down her door.
In an emotional post, she claimed hotel staff actively compromised her safety. “An hotel that allowed touts through their main gate, through reception up till 2nd floor to bang break down the door, same hotel that told the touts my room number,” she wrote.
The situation escalated further when, after the alleged intrusion, the hotel management presented her with a bill of N3.5 million for property damages and detained her on the premises. Expressing her despair, Phyna lamented the misfortunes of the year, stating, “Omo this 2025 for just take me leave my sister,” a poignant reference to her late sister, Ruth.
Her plea to the public was stark and direct: “Dalchifit hotel in swarinpa allowed touts to come in the hotel to fight me and now they are about to lock me up till Monday cuz I refused to pay a damage of 3.5m, please I’m in prison rn.”
The claims have sparked significant concern among her fans, turning a private dispute into a public incident raising questions about guest safety and corporate accountability.
