Juventus Eye Jadon Sancho Deal Amid Federico Chiesa Exit Rumors

Italian Giants Hopeful of Lowering Manchester United’s Demands or Securing Loan

Juventus are reportedly optimistic that Manchester United will lower their asking price for winger Jadon Sancho, or they may seek a loan deal instead. The potential departure of Federico Chiesa could play a pivotal role in Juventus’ efforts to bring the Englishman to Turin.

Sancho’s career at Manchester United has yet to meet the high expectations set during his prolific spell in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund. During his time in Germany, Sancho scored 53 goals and provided 67 assists in 158 appearances. However, since his move to Old Trafford, he has managed just 12 goals and six assists in 83 games. His struggles led to a loan back to Dortmund for the latter half of last season following a fallout with United manager Erik ten Hag.

While Ten Hag has reintegrated Sancho into the squad this season—he featured in the Community Shield—there is ongoing speculation that the winger could be on the move. Juventus, Barcelona, and Chelsea have all been linked with the 23-year-old, but it is the Serie A club that appears to be making the most serious push to sign him.

Juventus are reportedly exploring various conditions of a potential deal, with Manchester United open to considering suitable offers. Some reports suggest that United may be willing to part with Sancho for a fee of around £50 million. However, this price tag is proving to be a challenge for the Italian club.

Negotiations are ongoing, and Juventus are reportedly attempting to negotiate a lower fee. If they cannot reach an agreement, the Turin-based club may look to secure Sancho on loan—a move that remains uncertain, given United’s reluctance to let a valuable asset leave on another temporary deal.

The situation could shift in Juventus’ favor if they can facilitate the sale of Federico Chiesa. Offloading the Italian winger could create space in the squad for Sancho and provide the necessary funds to afford the deal. Reports indicate that Barcelona are hopeful of signing Chiesa before the transfer window closes, with Juventus asking for around £13 million. While this sum is modest, it could contribute towards the Sancho acquisition.

As the transfer window enters its final stages, Juventus remain determined to strike a deal for Sancho, hoping that Manchester United will agree to a price they can meet. Whether the move materializes will depend on the outcomes of ongoing negotiations and potential player sales.
