Bernardo Silva scored the only goal of the game at the King Power as Manchester City picked up three points against Leicester.
The reigning Premier League champions could have opened the scoring in the first half, but for some brilliant defending.
Recent Leicester signing Jannik Vestergaard lunged in to block a Ferran Torres shot, before Youri Tielemans got in the way of Ilkay Gundogan’s effort.
Harvey Barnes hit the crossbar after the interval when he headed a Jamie Vardy cross towards goal.
Jamie Vardy then had a goal ruled out for Brendan Rodgers’ side, and it was Silva who struck first. The Portugal international finished from close range after a Rodri effort was blocked.
