Madueke: Arsenal’s Culture and Fans Are Superior to Chelsea’s

In an exclusive interview, the summer signing opens up about silencing the doubters, the “best culture” he’s ever experienced, and the unique bond he already feels with the Gunners faithful.

Noni Madueke has delivered a glowing verdict on his first six months at Arsenal, boldly stating that his new club surpasses his former team Chelsea in two crucial aspects: the internal culture and the connection with the fans.

The 23-year-old winger, who made a £52 million switch from Stamford Bridge to the Emirates this summer, quickly became a key player before a knee injury interrupted his promising start. Now, in a candid interview, Madueke has revealed just how profound his integration has been off the pitch.

“It’s not just a team full of great and talented players, it’s a team full of good people,” Madueke told club media. “And I think the culture around here is probably the best I’ve seen.”

This positive environment helped him overcome a rocky initial reception, where a section of the fanbase protested his signing with an online petition. Any animosity, however, has completely vanished since he stepped onto the pitch.

“In terms of the supporters, it was a bit dicey at the start, on social media and stuff before I came to the club,” he admitted. “But when I’ve been in the stadium, I haven’t felt that close to fans, to be honest.”

Madueke described the palpable energy from the stands, noting, “I play on the side of the pitch so I can hear them throughout the game, pushing me on whenever I get the ball… it gives me a big, big, big boost.”

His affection for his new home is clear, as he concluded, “I always love playing at the Emirates, I’m always looking forward to the next game where I’m back.”

With a return from injury expected after the international break, Madueke will be eager to repay the faith of a fanbase he already feels closer to than any other in his career.
