Despite backing Ten Hag with a significant summer transfer budget and a contract extension, United are reportedly weighing an ambitious approach to lure Howe, who would command a hefty compensation package. While prying him away from Newcastle would be challenging, United’s interest in the 46-year-old could lead to an audacious move.
