The Red Devils are reportedly in talks with the forward’s powerful agent, but a deal is far from certain.
Manchester United have entered the conversation for Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi, according to a report from Sky Sport Germany. The club is said to be among several that have held discussions with the player’s new representative, the influential super-agent Jorge Mendes.
The 23-year-old German international has found the net three times in 13 appearances across the Bundesliga and Champions League this season for Dortmund, who currently sit third in Germany’s top flight.
The report clarifies that while Mendes is actively sounding out potential new homes for his client, the situation remains in its early stages. “Currently, there’s no movement, negotiations have stalled,” the outlet stated, directly dampening immediate speculation. They were also quick to counter growing rumours, explicitly stating that “rumours that Adeyemi has decided to leave are unfounded.”
For a Manchester United side sitting seventh in the Premier League and seeking to bolster their attacking options, Adeyemi represents an intriguing potential target. However, for now, it appears the club has merely entered the preliminary phase of what could become a complex transfer pursuit.
