17-Year-Old Left-Back to Join Old Trafford in 2024 as First Signing of the Ruben Amorim Era
Manchester United have reportedly reached a verbal agreement to sign Diego Leon, a highly-rated 17-year-old left-back from Paraguayan club Cerro Porteño. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the deal is valued at up to $8.5 million and is set to be finalized with Leon’s move to England in July 2024.
Leon has made a name for himself in the Paraguayan Primera División during the 2024 season, with 21 appearances and two goals across all competitions.
