Mercy Johnson Takes Search for Regina Daniels’ Brother to Police Station

Nollywood Star Escalates Campaign for Sammy West’s Release, Demands Answers from Authorities

Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has taken her campaign for justice directly to the police, personally visiting a station in Abuja to demand answers about the whereabouts of Sammy West, the brother of colleague Regina Daniels.

The move comes after Mercy Johnson publicly decried the arrest of Sammy, which is linked to the ongoing marital dispute between Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. In a passionate online post, the actress called the situation the “worst form of injustice,” revealing that the young man had been held for two days without anyone being allowed to see him.

Her activism did not stop at social media. In a video shared by Regina Daniels, Mercy Johnson was seen leaving a police station after making inquiries. Speaking directly to the camera, she reported that officers denied having Sammy in their custody.

“I am leaning here now, he is not here,” a determined Mercy Johnson stated. “We have spoken to all the officers involved, he is not here. We are going to the FCT Command.”

Her actions signal a significant escalation in the high-profile case, moving the plea from online outrage to a direct, personal confrontation with the authorities in a relentless search for answers.
