Amidst Controversy, Adetshina Embraces Nigeria and Eyes Miss Universe Nigeria Pageant
Chidimma Adetshina, a former Miss South Africa contestant, has expressed reservations about returning to South Africa following her withdrawal from the pageant. Adetshina faced significant backlash after her participation was announced, leading to her exit from the competition amidst allegations involving her mother, including fraud and identity theft, as reported by the South African Home Office.
Since her departure from the Miss South Africa pageant, Adetshina has accepted an invitation to compete in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant. Now in Nigeria, her father’s homeland, Adetshina has shown great enthusiasm for her stay.
In an interview with Cool FM Nigeria, Adetshina shared, “I’m not looking forward to going back to South Africa. I want to explore more and stay longer to see what happens next.”
Her comments reflect a growing interest in remaining in Nigeria as she considers her next steps in her pageantry career.
