In a raw and revealing social media post, Mandy, the former wife of popular Nigerian comedian Mark Angel, has detailed a series of painful allegations against him, sharing her story as part of a viral “put a finger down” challenge.
Speaking via Instagram, Mandy described a pattern of manipulation and humiliation, beginning with her wedding night. She alleged that Angel persuaded her into a threesome with a stranger, instructing her to lie and tell the woman he was merely a friend. “Put a finger down if your man talked you into having a threesome with a total stranger on your wedding night,” she said to the camera.
The allegations grew more personal from there. Mandy claimed that after the birth of their child, Angel body-shamed her for her stretch marks, telling her he no longer found her desirable and pushing her to undergo cosmetic surgery. She also accused him of regularly insulting her cooking to his friends.
Further claims included an incident where he allegedly brought a woman to their home, insisted they were “just friends,” and then retreated to a bedroom where Mandy could hear them being intimate.
In another instance, she said he left at 4 a.m. to pick up an ex-girlfriend who was being abused.
Perhaps the most startling accusation was that he told her he had a terminal illness and only a few years to live—a claim she says has proven false, as he remains alive today.
The post has ignited a fervent online conversation about coercion, emotional abuse, and the pressures faced by women in relationships.
