Napoli’s star striker, Victor Osimhen, is considering legal action against the club following a controversial incident involving a TikTok video, as stated by his agent Roberto Calenda in a formal statement.
The incident in question revolves around a video posted on Napoli’s official TikTok profile. This video was deemed offensive and mocking in nature towards Victor Osimhen after a penalty miss and it was initially made public before being deleted at a later time.
Roberto Calenda expressed his deep concern over the matter, stating, “What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted.”
Furthermore, Calenda pointed out that this incident has caused significant harm to the player, exacerbating the challenges Osimhen has faced recently, including negative media attention and the proliferation of false information.
In response to the situation, Calenda asserted, “We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor.”
