Napoli President Reveals Victor Osimhen’s Potential Move to Premier League, Real Madrid, or PSG

Aurelio De Laurentiis Discloses Osimhen’s Future Plans as Napoli Striker Weighs Options

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has disclosed that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen could be heading to the Premier League, Real Madrid, or Paris Saint-Germain in the upcoming summer transfer window. Despite extending his contract with Napoli until 2026 in November, Osimhen is rumored to be considering a departure from the Serie A side at the end of the current season.

“We already knew it since last summer,” De Laurentiis remarked, shedding light on the long-standing awareness of Osimhen’s potential move. The Napoli president ruled out the possibility of a swoop for Jose Mourinho, emphasizing that the former AS Roma manager’s future does not involve Napoli.

Osimhen recently announced that he has made a decision regarding his next move but refrained from disclosing details. While confirming the extension of his contract with the Italian champions, Osimhen acknowledged the swirling rumors about a Premier League link and expressed his focus on finishing the current season strongly.

“The rumor is going around about me linked with the Premier League. Of course, when you’re one of the hottest strikers in the world, you expect this type of thing,” Osimhen stated. He reaffirmed his commitment to Napoli, highlighting his enjoyment of being with the team and underlining his autonomy in decision-making regarding his career.

Having contributed significantly with 31 goals to Napoli’s success last season, securing their first Scudetto title since 1990, Osimhen has garnered interest from Premier League clubs Chelsea and Arsenal, both reportedly eyeing him as a potential talisman for the upcoming season.
