Ned Nwoko Denies Underage Marriage Allegations, Points to Regina’s “Mental Condition” in A social Media Post

Billionaire politician produces voter’s card to assert wife was 21 at marriage, while publicly revealing her struggle with drug addiction.

Billionaire politician Ned Nwoko has broken his silence, issuing a forceful public denial against allegations that he married his wife, Regina Daniels, when she was underage. In a statement that took a deeply personal turn, Nwoko not only presented his evidence but also publicly questioned his wife’s mental state.

“It has come to my attention that false claims are being circulated by Regina, suggesting that I married her when she was 17 years old. These claims are entirely untrue and misleading,” Nwoko stated.

To refute the claims, Nwoko detailed his first meeting with Regina, asserting that she personally told him she was 21. He claims she supported this with a voter’s card showing a birth year of 1998—a document he says he has kept in his possession ever since. Based on this timeline, Nwoko states that Regina is currently 27 years old, making her 21 at the time of their marriage six years ago.

The response, however, escalated beyond a simple rebuttal. Nwoko concluded his statement by urging the public to view Regina’s claims with caution, “especially taking into account her current mental condition having started and abandoned her rehabilitation from illegal drug addiction.”
