Secretary Urges Massive Turnout, Stadium to Be Drenched in Green and White as Tickets Go on Sale
In a bid to rally support for the Super Eagles, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced an exciting incentive for fans attending today’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe. The first 500 supporters to purchase match tickets will receive a free Super Eagles home jersey, according to Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, the NFF General Secretary.
The highly anticipated clash kicks off at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, and Sanusi is calling on Nigerians to pack the stands and create an electrifying atmosphere.
“We need every Nigerian to come out and back the Super Eagles on Tuesday,” Sanusi urged. “When we faced Rwanda in Kigali last Friday, their stadium was packed to the brim with passionate fans. Now, it’s our turn—let’s fill Uyo with roaring support, drums, and dancing to inspire our boys to victory.”
To amplify the patriotic spirit, the NFF is also encouraging fans to wear the national colors—green and white—and turn the stadium into a sea of Nigerian pride.
Tickets for the match will be available on match day, with VIP seats priced at ₦3,000 and regular tickets at ₦1,000. With a free jersey up for grabs for early birds and a crucial three points at stake, the NFF hopes fans will turn out in force to cheer the Super Eagles to victory.
