Founder of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Suleiman, has responded to actress Halima Abubakar’s claims by daring her to present her allegations in a court of law.
Through his lawyer, Dr. Abdul Mahmud, Apostle Suleiman called on Halima Abubakar to subject her accusations to judicial scrutiny by filing a defense.
Dr. Abdul stated that his client had been unjustly attacked, maligned, and defamed by Halima, with the motive of blackmailing him for financial gain.
Assuring justice for Apostle Suleiman, Dr. Abdul emphasized that the legal proceedings would address the defamation of his character.
He stated:
“Prior to instituting the lawsuit, we served the letter of cease and desist on the said actress on behalf of our client, but she persisted in her relentless and scurrilous attacks on our client.
“Following the order of the court, substituted service of the court processes were advertised in a national daily.
“On the return date of March 27, 2023, the said actress or her counsel did not enter appearance before the court.
“The court, therefore, adjourned the hearing to June 6 and 7, 2023, for the definite hearing of our client’s suit.”
Halima Abubakar had previously made allegations that Apostle Suleiman had engaged in an affair with her, resulting in severe health issues.
The actress further claimed that Apostle Suleiman had sexual relations with her while she was experiencing bleeding, and she had been pregnant for him three times, but each pregnancy ended in miscarriage.
