Social Media Star calls for Help Following Airport Arrest
Nigerian social media influencer and crossdresser, Bobrisky, has reportedly been rearrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after a brief release from detention. The arrest follows a recent incident involving the Nigerian Immigration Service, which detained Bobrisky over allegations of attempting to leave the country to evade bribery investigations.
Following his initial release, Bobrisky shared updates on Instagram, showcasing a fresh look and boldly asserting his innocence. However, he later posted that he had been taken into custody again by EFCC agents at the airport.
In a subsequent post, the self-described “Mummy of Lagos” claimed he sustained injuries during the EFCC’s arrest. “Nigerians, help me! EFCC has just arrested me. I’m badly injured,” read the post, appealing to followers for support.
As the investigation unfolds, Bobrisky’s recent arrests have sparked significant online conversation, with fans and critics alike reacting to his claims and the ongoing legal proceedings.
