Nigerian Idol Season 8 Live Show Heats Up as Top 10 Contestants Showcase Electrifying Performances

The excitement reached a fever pitch as Season 8 of the Nigerian Idol Live Show competition kicked off, with ten exceptional contestants dazzling the three judges with their remarkable performances. These standout acts have now secured their positions in the highly anticipated Live Show edition of Nigerian Idol Season 8, which is set to begin today.

The theater week’s final solo performances commenced with a breathtaking rendition by Henry Savy. His rendition of Davido’s hit song “Para” pierced the hearts of judges Simi, D’banj, and Obi Asika, making it the talk of the moment. Henry Savy became the first contestant to secure a spot in the top 10 category of the show with his electrifying performance.

Seventeen-year-old Constance also stole the show with her mesmerizing performance of Ariana Grande’s “Positions,” captivating the audience with her talent. Precious Mac filled the theater with joy as she thrilled everyone with a soulful rendition of Simi’s “Ayo.”

The remaining contestants: Victory, Daniel Ose, Goodness, Abraham, Reigny, Quest, and Chizo impressed the judges with their brilliant performances of songs by renowned artists such as 2baba, Adekunle Gold, Lizzo, Chris Brown, Summer Walker, and Miley Cyrus. They showcased exceptional stage presence and secured their place in the next phase of the competition. Chizo, the last contestant, narrowly escaped elimination this time, unlike the previous season when he was sent home at a crucial moment.

Sadly, nineteen contenders were tactfully eliminated as only the top 10 acts could progress further in the competition. The stiff competition made it necessary to narrow down the selection to accommodate the best performers.
