Nigerian rapper Lil Kesh is recovering after a terrifying robbery attempt in Lagos left him with serious injuries. The popular musician, whose real name is Keshinro Ololade, was attacked by unknown assailants on Wednesday while they tried to steal his jewellery, including a necklace.
During the struggle, the 30-year-old was stabbed in the neck and part of his ear. Shocking images from the incident spread quickly online, alarming fans across the country. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors treated his wounds and ensured he was stable.
Breaking his silence on Instagram, Lil Kesh shared his relief and gratitude. He described the traumatic event as a “curveball” from life but emphasized that he is now safe, healing, and thankful for the support.
“Life threw me a curveball, but I’m safe, healing, and blessed to be here,” he wrote. “Grateful for the love, support and prayers.”
His message has brought comfort to concerned followers, who had flooded social media with well-wishes and prayers for his recovery.
