Olivier Giroud has told talkSPORT he is ‘100 per cent focused on Chelsea’ and sent a plea to manager Frank Lampard to give him more game time.
The 33-year-old striker made his first appearance for the Blues since November on Monday night as he came off the bench in the second-half of the clash vs Manchester United.
He even looked to have scored his first Premier League goal of the season, only for his header from Mason Mount’s cross to be chalked off by VAR for a marginal offside decision.

Giroud was close to leaving the London club last month, with Lampard giving the Frenchman permission to depart if Chelsea received the right offer.
Inter Milan and Tottenham moves were said to be on the cards but he ultimately stayed at the Bridge as Chelsea failed to sign a replacement striker.
He insists he has now put that disappointment behind him and is determined to play more during the remainder of the season and fight for a place in France’s Euro 2020 squad.
It appears he could get his wish, too, with first choice frontman Tammy Abraham injured and Michy Batshuayi failing to take his chances.
The Belgian striker, who has just six goals in 19 appearances this season, missed three clear opportunities against United as Ole Gunnar Solskjear’s men claimed a 2-0 victory.
Chelsea have now won only one of their past six league games, and Giroud has made it clear he is ready to solve Lampard’s striker crisis.
“I am a Chelsea player,” Giroud told talkSPORT following the defeat at Stamford Bridge.
“Now I need to move on, move forward. I want to give everything for the team and obviously my personal target is to play as much as I can to play at the Euros for my country. It is massive for me.
“Now I am 100 per cent focused on Chelsea’s targets.
“I want to keep fighting, come back on the scoresheet and the teamsheets and every single game is a big opportunity for me to show my desire to come back in the game.”
