Ayo Labinjo rejects DNA claims, alleges family spy operation, and demands singer address her directly.
The bitter public feud over the paternity of a teenager, Anu, has intensified, with her mother, Ayo Labinjo, launching a fiery rebuttal against claims made by Davido’s father, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke.
In a detailed Instagram post, Labinjo categorically denied the Adeleke family’s narrative, which includes assertions of five negative DNA tests and allegations that controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo controls her daughter’s social media. Instead, she painted a picture of a family under siege.
“The power and money is being abused here,” Labinjo wrote, directly addressing Dr. Adeleke. She expressed shock at his claim that her own sister, Titi, had been communicating with him since 2020, calling it an act of betrayal. “My only sister… went to the oppressors to collect money? How?”
Labinjo firmly denied that Olunloyo currently runs Anu’s account, stating the page was handed over to the family in 2019 and that they are no longer in contact, despite Olunloyo’s past help with publicity. She also challenged the claim that additional DNA tests were conducted in 2020, demanding the public release of all results.
The core of her anger was directed at what she perceives as cowardice and intimidation. “Sir, as the patriarch of the family you should not be talking on David’s behalf,” she stated. “I’m not Sophia negotiating child support. Let David address me.”
The post concluded with a grave warning: “If anything happens to me, my daughter and mom, the police should hold you responsible.”
Her statement transforms the dispute from a clash over scientific evidence into a dramatic accusation of power imbalance, espionage within her own family, and a refusal by the superstar at the center of it all to face her directly. The Adeleke family has yet to respond to these latest allegations.
