PSG Proposes Groundbreaking Salary to Make Mbappe One of the World’s Highest-Paid Athletes

Paris Saint-Germain Presents Unprecedented Contract to Retain Kylian Mbappe

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is leaving no stone unturned to secure the future of Kylian Mbappe, as reports suggest the club has extended a contract offer of unparalleled proportions to the World Cup winner.

Mbappe’s current deal with PSG is set to expire at the end of the season, allowing him to engage in discussions with foreign clubs since January 1. Real Madrid and Liverpool have been persistent in their pursuit of the French sensation, but PSG is determined to keep him in the French capital.

According to AfterFoot RMC, PSG is prepared to present Mbappe with a staggering salary, making him one of the highest-paid athletes globally. The proposed contract would reportedly amount to £86 million per year, equivalent to approximately £1.8 million per week.

Sports journalist Daniel Riolo discussed the extraordinary offer, emphasizing its unprecedented nature. “It would be something never seen before, it is something incredible. It far exceeds €100m per season,” said Riolo on After Foot RMC.

The offer is believed to extend benefits not only to Mbappe but also to his family, including his younger brother Ethan, who has recently joined the PSG first-team—a factor that could play a role in Mbappe’s decision-making.

While PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi has mentioned a gentleman’s agreement between him and Mbappe, recent developments suggest the 25-year-old forward might be willing to forgo up to €80 million if he opts to leave. Contrary to rumors of an agreement with Real Madrid, a statement denied any ongoing discussions about Mbappe’s future.

The statement clarified: “There is no agreement around Kylian’s future, especially since there are no discussions started about it. No type of influence could dictate the timing of Kylian’s discussions, reflections, or decision.”
