The 58-year-old collapsed in his cell at Butner Federal Correctional Complex on June 13 after what his legal team claims was a dangerously large medication dose, leaving him dizzy and temporarily blinded. Medical staff at Duke University Hospital later diagnosed life-threatening blood clots in his lungs and legs.
“They’re Trying to Kill Him”
