Bernabéu Becomes a Playground for Stars in Dazzling Champions League Display
Real Madrid delivered a dazzling attacking masterclass on Tuesday night, sweeping aside Monaco 6-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu with Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe at the heart of the spectacle.
It took Mbappe just five minutes to announce himself, calmly slotting home his tenth Champions League goal of the season. Monaco’s Ansu Fati missed a golden chance to level, and Madrid made them pay when Vinicius produced a moment of magic, curling a perfect cross with the outside of his boot for Mbappe to tap in a second.

Monaco fought to stay in the game before halftime, with Jordan Teze rattling the crossbar, but any hope of a comeback vanished soon after the break. Teenager Franco Mastantuono swept in a third, before Thilo Kehrer’s own goal and a thunderbolt from Vinicius into the top corner put the result beyond doubt.
A late defensive error allowed Teze to pull one back for the visitors, but Jude Bellingham had the final say, rounding the keeper to complete the half-dozen and cap a breathtaking team performance.
The win reinforces Real Madrid’s formidable home record against French sides and lifts them to second in the group stage standings. For Monaco, the heavy defeat leaves their European hopes hanging by a thread, slumped near the bottom of the table and staring at early elimination.
