In a scathing online attack before his arrest, Sweezy Daniels claims the Senator’s son died from a drug overdose, accusing him of hypocrisy in their ongoing feud.
The bitter public dispute between Senator Ned Nwoko and the family of his wife, actress Regina Daniels, has taken a devastating new turn. Sweezy Daniels, Regina’s brother, has made a grave allegation against the politician, claiming that Nwoko’s son died from “excessive intake of drugs” in the United Kingdom—a tragedy he accuses the Senator of concealing from the public.
The allegation was hurled via Instagram Story just before Sweezy’s own arrest, which he and his mother, Rita Daniels, have blamed on Nwoko. In a direct and angry message, Sweezy challenged the Senator’s moral standing, writing: “Accusing my siblings of drugs. What killed your son in the UK? Died of heart failure and seizure due to excessive intake of drugs!!! Yet nobody heard shit.”
He continued, “You stand on integrity abi?”—a pointed question mocking Nwoko’s public persona.
This explosive charge appears to be a retaliatory strike in an escalating family war. It follows accusations from Regina Daniels herself that Nwoko ordered the arrests of her siblings amid their marital breakdown.
The conflict has drawn in the entire family. In a separate video, the actress’s mother, Rita Daniels, was seen expressing fury over her son’s arrest. She alleged that her daughter had once financially supported Nwoko’s political ambitions, contributing $50,000 to his senatorial campaign, and now accuses him of “betrayal and pride.”
As these deeply personal allegations spill into the open, the situation has evolved from a marital dispute into a full-blown scandal, threatening to tarnish the reputations of all involved. Senator Nwoko has yet to publicly respond to these latest and most serious claims.
