Nollywood star Regina Daniels has publicly revealed she underwent drug testing to address “fabricated” rumors of addiction that circulated in the wake of her highly publicized separation from billionaire husband Ned Nwoko.

In a candid Instagram post, Daniels described the past few months as an overwhelmingly difficult period but emphasized she emerged stronger due to support from loved ones and fans. The actress stated she took the test not only for herself but for those who continue to believe in her.

“Taking this test isn’t just about clearing my name, it’s about giving a clear and confident voice to those who believe in me,” Daniels wrote. “I was never on any hard dr**gs or any nonsense fabricated online. I will definitely sue at the appropriate time.”

She acknowledged past association with the drug ecstasy, known as Molly, but said there was a reason for it that she plans to explain later. Daniels framed the experience as a turning point toward greater personal accountability and growth.

“This chapter of my life is now about self-discovery, self-growth, and becoming even more intentional about who I am and where I’m going,” she shared.

Daniels also reflected on the emotional toll of the accusations, describing a period where “everything I had ever known was drowning right in front of me.” However, she credited her resilience to her faith and the support system around her.

The post struck a tone of defiance and renewal as she enters the new year, signaling her intent to rebuild her narrative on her own terms.
