Nollywood actress alleges Ned Nwoko filed for full custody as a ploy for attention, claims she has been barred from speaking to her children.
Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has publicly vowed to battle for custody of her two sons, launching a series of serious allegations against her estranged husband, billionaire businessman and politician Ned Nwoko.
In an emotional Instagram post, Daniels revealed that Nwoko has filed for full legal custody of their children, despite the boys already living in his care. She framed the legal move as part of a calculated campaign for public attention, rather than a genuine parental concern.
“People may believe that I am happy, but no mother can be at peace while separated from her children,” Daniels wrote. She explained that her previous silence was a choice to avoid public drama, but she now feels compelled to speak out. “Clearly this man keeps acting like a baby.”
The heart of her accusation centers on what she calls the “repeated public exposure” of their sons on social media. She contends that Nwoko, as a seasoned public figure, knows such posts will attract media frenzy. “It is reasonable to question whether his behavior is motivated by public engagement rather than parental responsibility,” she stated.
Daniels made further grave claims, alleging that Nwoko dismissed all her trusted nannies and pressured them into giving false statements that she is violent and abuses alcohol in front of the children. She says the last time she spoke to her sons was in mid-November.
“I am left to wonder whether I am truly such a threat that I am being challenged so aggressively,” she wrote, expressing her anguish. “I may be young, but I am such a mum, I enjoy being a mum and I miss being a mum.”
Her post ended with a firm declaration of her intent to fight: “It’s so crazy if their father thinks I won’t come for my children. I will definitely.”
The allegations have sparked widespread discussion on social media, with fans and commentators divided. Many express sympathy for Daniels’ maternal struggle, while others await a response from Ned Nwoko, who has not yet publicly addressed the claims. The private marital breakdown has now escalated into a very public and contentious custody dispute.
