Afrobeats Star Reportedly Paid N4.5 Billion for Performance at High-Profile Event
Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Divine Ikubor, widely known as Rema, recently dazzled guests at the wedding of Anant Ambani, son of India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharma magnates Viren and Shaila Merchant.
The grand event, held in Mumbai, has drawn significant attention, particularly due to reports that Rema was paid an astonishing N4.5 billion for his performance.
Rema, a Mavin Records artist, performed his hit song “Calm Down,” thrilling the star-studded crowd. A video of his performance has gone viral, showing the excitement and energy as guests, including Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, joined in singing and dancing with Rema.
