Siraheem Okoya Opens Lagos Bowling Club With $5000 Annual Membership Fee

“It’s for wealthy people,” says billionaire’s son, as fans debate the $5,000 membership cost.

A new high-end bowling centre in Lagos is sparking intense debate after its owner, Siraheem Okoya—son of billionaire businessman Chief Rasak Okoya—revealed its exclusive membership fee.

In a recent online video featuring content creator Chioma Goodhair, the music star-turned-businessman stated that becoming an annual member costs $5,000, roughly equivalent to ₦7.5 million. Defending the price, Siraheem called it “cheap” for the upscale experience offered and described the venue as a family-friendly fun spot set to open officially this Sunday.

When asked whether people with more modest budgets could visit, Siraheem was clear: the club is intended for the affluent. “The club was basically for wealthy people,” he said, adding that those unable to afford the fee “should not bother coming.”

The announcement has drawn strong reactions from fans and observers online. Many expressed shock at the cost, with some noting that even in countries like the United States, bowling is generally considered a more accessible pastime. Critics questioned whether the business could survive with such exclusivity, while others predicted success, suggesting the venue will become a networking hub for Lagos’ elite.

This is not the first time Siraheem has made headlines for his pricing. Months earlier, he set his performance fee at ₦3 million per show, advising potential clients not to book him “if they do not have money.”
